Dave and Heather’s wedding at the Aquarium was truly one of the most wonderful events we’ve been involved in. First of all, the couple was so lovely and so good together (which is always great to see) and the planning for this event was top notch. Formals were at the Four Seasons which is truly one of the best hotels in town. Gayle Skelton is so professional and lovely to work with, we always look forward to an event with her!
From the start, we worked with Sharon Fisher and Lauren LeNoir from It’s My Party, Inc… they are just fantastic!! Every detail was so well thought out, all the way to the elaborate and detailed linens on the cake table. (pearl encrusted…amazing!) Sharon and Lauren were, as always, so fantastic to work with, and that made our night even that more fun. As you can see from the pictures, the flowers were incredible and just perfect to set the mood in the Aquarium Ballroom. Barbara Roos and Tony Brewer & Co. did the flowers and we were just blown away.
And, the Aquarium. Ahhhh. In a word…wow. To photograph Dave and Heather silhouetted up against the Beluga Whale tank was just surreal. I really believe the Belugas were actually posing for pictures! Really! I think Ric was like a kid in a candy shop…there was just so much to photograph. He had a perma grin all night!
The cocktail hour was in the area in front of the huge fishtank where Whale Sharks, MantaRays, Hammerheads, etc etc just swam right by. Just beautiful. And the food…yum. Chef Greg let us try some of the fantastic food he was preparing. Wolfgang Puck would be pleased. Most importantly, though, aside from all the setting excitement, the flowers, the food, the fish…was the couple. They truly love and respect each other, and we wish Dave and Heather a lifetime of happiness together!
ps. I think it is definitely good luck when a special surprise visitor walks by during wedding formals and poses with the bride at the Four Seasons. Usher could not have been more sweet or lovely to give us a minute of his time!
