We just had the most amazing day. Our friend Anne Morgan at Wolfgang Puck Catering asked us to photograph a special luncheon that they were catering at the new TWELVE ballroom at the hotel in Atlantic Station. We worked with Lee Anne Rees who runs the show at TWELVE, and the luncheon was just wonderful.
First of all, the decor was beyond amazing. Event Design Group worked all morning to create the most incredible atmosphere. The linens were lime green and chocolate brown with pink and silver accents. It looked so cool!!! My favorite was the floral “chandelier” balls they had suspended over the table. I had never seen that, and it looked funky and elegant at the same time. Every detail was well designed, all the way down to the silver tassels on the pink silky grosgain napkins. (I’m sure there is a more official term to describe them, but that is the best I can do!)
Lunch was amazing. We don’t often get to enjoy the menu that the guests are served, but Anne and Lee Anne insisted that we sit and eat and be guests. We LOVED that. And it was great for us, because since the luncheon was for wedding planners in Atlanta, we got to visit with our friends! In between courses, we bolted into the kitchen where Chef Greg was doing his amazing work. It was one of the best meals I’ve ever had…all the way down to the creme brulee and ginger ice cream. Yum.
Twelve was really a neat venue, classy and elegant, with the capability of being fun and funky. We are excited to work there again on a few events coming up this year! It was a great partnership with Wolfgang Puck, TWELVE and Event Design Group. We were thrilled to be a part of it.
