We met Angela almost a year ago at a party for Isabella Margianu’s bridal salon’s grand opening. Ric and I clicked with her instantly and were so thrilled to be her wedding photographer when she married Kyle!
Angela looked like an angel on her wedding day. Her gown was just perfect for her, and she had a smile from ear to ear all day. That is always a highlight for me, seeing a bride really enjoying her day. Their ceremony was beautiful and we had such a ball with their whole bridal party.
They had 3 adorable ring bearers all under the age of 6, and when I asked one of them if he was excited to go to the party afterwards…his response… “well, will YOU be there?”. I just about fell over. Angela and Kyle were married by a high school friend of hers, who is now the minister at the church. I thought that was so cool–they used to carpool to school, and now he was marrying her.
After the ceremony, the celebration moved to the Westin Buckhead (the bridal party traveled there in a stretch Hummer!). It was our first time working with planner Chasity Stodghill and she was fantastic. Kept things moving and so organized and was such a pleasure to work with. And, we learned later that she also runs her own stationery and design company, so she did all the invitations and programs. And they were beautiful.
The party was a blast. I had a few highlights. First was when Angela was dancing with her Dad. I loved watching her Mom’s reaction. Later I mentioned to Theresa how much I enjoyed seeing her emotion. She told me that she was thinking about dancing with her own Dad at her wedding, many years ago. On a more fun note, the bridal party were all together on the dance floor and the band played “You give love a bad name” and “Living on a prayer” by Bon Jovi. They were having the BEST time and it permeated through the whole room. And my final highlight, seeing a bride and groom who smiled non-stop from the moment their day started until the bubbles were flying at the end. We wish them a beautiful forever together!
