We had a ball at Nicole and Kevin’s big fat Greek Wedding. It is always a joy to work with our pal Suzanne at Magnolia Events, and we knew it was going to be a picture perfect day. Nicole looked just beautiful and her parents were beaming. It was so lovely to see!
The Greek Orthodox Cathedral of the Annunciation was the most welcoming church–Roy was the coordinator there and he was our personal tour guide to some of the nuances of a Greek Orthodox ceremony. We just love when ceremonies have special traditions and are so personal for the family. I loved the moment in the ceremony when Nicole’s Dad “pushed” them away from him (gently of course) in true Greek tradition.
The celebration continued at the Four Seasons (yes, my happy place!) and the ballroom looked just beautiful. Catherine Walther did her magic and the room was gorgeous. Guests came in to the sounds of Del Baroni crooning their Frank Sinatra tunes, and it was just quite the elegant evening. It was a gorgeous event, that was flawless, and we loved working with these two lovely families.
We wish much health and happiness to Nicole, Kevin and their families. Oh yes, and did we forget to mention… OPA!
