Lauren & Chris

So, Lauren told us that her sweet fiance’ Chris proposed at the American Theater (the old fashioned movie theater featured in The Notebook) with a custom marquee that asked her to marry him. Ok, can you get more romantic than that? Well…uh, yes, you can. Their first dance was to be to Lauren’s fave song, Find Your Way by Indy singer, Pablo Blaqk. She liked it so much, Rupert’s Orchestra was to play the actual CD for the dance, not to sing it live. Well, as they got up to introduce the first dance…instead they introduced Pablo Blaqk. Chris flew him in as a surprise to his bride, to sing their song to her live. Wow. Ok, you surely can’t get more romantic than that.

Lauren looked like a princess in her Impressions gown. It was hanging on the cutest aluminum hanger twisted to show her married name. Write me if you want the source to order one. It was adorable. Her bridesmaids were so excited for her, and their energy and emotion was contagious!

The day was just beautiful–a lovely ceremony at one of Atlanta’s most beautiful churches…Second Ponce de Leon Baptist Church. The flowers were amazing–done by Mimi Walden and were the most incredible blend of white hydrangeas, lilies and roses. Gor-ge-ous! The ceremony for these high school and college sweethearts was tender and sweet–and both families were so happy. It was a beautiful union of two really fantastic families.

Of we trekked to the Biltmore for the reception–it was a fairy tale room–candles and flowers everywhere. Rupert’s was awesome and really kept the party going! They were gracious again and shared the stage with other “musicians”…some groomsmen and Chris singing Sweet Home Alabama. The crew danced the entire time until the couple left in a Rolls Royce after a rose petal send off.

Lauren and Chris, wishing you so much love and happiness together–you already so clearly adore each other! Thanks for including us in your celebration!
