It was a beautiful day for a celebration when we shot Mary and Jeff’s wedding at PUMC and The Four Seasons with Watermark Weddings. Mary was a beautiful bride–and she looked just stunning in her gown. Her awesome Mom and sister were right by her side to help her get ready, and Mary just was beaming! It was so touching that her Mom handed her the wedding bouquet, and fastened around the stems was a piece of the lace from her own wedding gown. A very touching and emotional moment. We loved getting our usual group shot in the atrium at PUMC, with the super fun bridal party–we knew these folks would celebrate and we were right. The party at the Four Seasons was lots of fun, they didn’t stop dancing until the final song. Mary and Jeff left with a shower of rose petals coming down the grand staircase–can’t ask for a better send off than that! Congrats!
I love when a client has a vision, AND gives me creative license (and time)! I want to thank Shayna, our beautiful November 3 bride, for the opportunity to bring her vision to life–and do so on her wedding day!
With the bride starting her day at a hotel, but finishing her preps at the ceremony and reception location, however, we were challenged to make Shayna’s vision a reality. With the help of Steve Bales at Bold American and the support of Helene Popowski–planner, coordinator, supporter and friend–and Shayna’s willingness be be flexible, we pulled it off! The last picture below shows the unusual setting in which we shot these photos.
We hope you enjoy the results as much as we enjoyed our bridal photo shoot with Shayna!
It was a beautiful sunny November day when we headed up to Barnsley Gardens to shoot Jennifer and Jason’s wedding. What a beautiful setting-it was our first time shooting there, and there were so many photo opps! In addition to the beautiful surroundings, Jennifer had included so many special touches in the day–most including her fave purple–all the way from bows on her flower girl (her puppy!) to the purple straws at the bar. I loved that they saw each other for the first time surrounded by bamboo–it was beautiful! The ketubah signing was warm with all their closest friends and family there. Luckily the weather held out and it wasn’t too cold for the guests in the heated tent. They left their celebration to a beautiful group of sparklers–a fun way to end this great night! Wishing you both congratulations!!!!
Gor-ge-ous! I can’t think of a better word to describe Shayna and Jesse’s ceremony and celebration at Puritan Mill. It was unreal. Steve Bales and his team at Bold American created the most breathtaking decor, both in the ceremony room and the celebration. Just wow.We had a amazing bridal portrait session in our makeshift studio in a corner of Puritan Mill. (thanks, Steve!) Helene Popowski is just amazing and her wedding planning brilliance was unreal today. There was not a detail left untouched. The beautiful and UBER happy couple danced the night away to the awesome Party of Moon, and yes, of course, the band played “Jessie’s Girl”. Cake God, Mark Lotti from Classic Cheesecakes and Cakes, worked his magic. And, we always love working with our video pals at Dewitt Smith Video. Shayna is a bit of a Cheerios-a-holic, so that is what they exited to—a shower of Cheerios! We wish this lovely couple a beautiful life together! Mazel tov!
You couldn’t have picked a more perfect fall evening for Emily’s beautiful celebration at the Botanical Gardens. The party started out on the Canopy Walk, where guests could enjoy drinks and munchies (s’more popcorn!) as they walked around the Gardens. Tobi Lyons planned this party to perfection. The décor was amazing (our pals Barbara and Chris from Bold), DJ Rhythm did his awesome party thing, our friends at Button It Up did their green screen fun and Affairs to Remember created delicious food areas for the celebration. (Make your own cupcakes, anyone?) Emily was on the dance floor from start to finish, celebrating with her friends and family under the stars. What an amazing celebration! Mazel tov!
