Perspective, the day after the Aquarium.

I need to tell how AMAZING the celebration was at the Aquarium…but it will need to wait until later today. Right now, top on my mind is something perhaps even more life-changing than a wedding. My brave, good-hearted and selfless husband is involved in something so special that I needed to share. Ric heard about a non-for-profit organization called “Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep“whose sole purpose is to provide photography services for families who are faced with losing a child. My dear Ric saw an article about this organization, and knew that he must get involved. I feel strongly that it is only a particular type of person who could handle this charge. I personally am not, my husband is. So, the day after one of the most uplifting, incredible affairs we’ve ever photographed, Ric was at Scottish Rite Hospital sharing a most difficult, yet cherished moment with a family who really needed his help.

Perspective. Kind of a generic concept…yet so clearly illustrated to Ric and me within a short 24 hour period. I hope that anyone reading this, my husband included, realizes just how precious life is, and how important it is to appreciate and celebrate the beauty of our lives, and the love of our friends and our cherished family.
