Lindsay + Brent

We always love shooting at the Ritz Downtown…you walk in to delicious lemonade and warm hellos from the staff…and you know the day is going to be perfect. That was certainly the case for Lindsay and Brent’s wedding last weekend. Ok, so it was 900 degrees and a little rainy outside, but it was lovely inside! All of Lindsay’s girls were helping her get ready in her suite, and they all looked phenomenal in their black dresses. (yes, they can wear the dresses again!). Lindsay’s awesome sis (who they affectionately called Pippa!) was at her side helping with all the details along the way.

Brent expression when he saw Lindsay for the first time was the biggest grin we’ve seen from him…pure joy and awe of how beautiful she looked. It was a really sweet moment! The ceremony room looked amazing (JWilbur from EventScapes is always incredible). We got to work with our fave Wilbur and also met some new and very talented folks…The Whole Shebang wedding planners were on top of every little detail and it was all documented with our new friends Meagan and Tim from One Chance Wedding Video (what a great team!).

The crowd was a dancing crowd…the dance floor was rarely empty! Their final send off with bubbles was an awesome way to end a really fun evening. We know they are in Maui right now (we’re SO jealous) enjoying one of our most favorite places in the world. Wishing you both a wonderful life with much happiness and (as they say in Maui) A’ole pilikia (no worries…)!

St. Regis Glamour!

What do you get when you combine amazing gowns from Joan Pillow Bridal, gorgeous floral from A Legendary Event, a beautiful model with hair and make-up impeccably done by Brushworx on Location and styled by the fabulous Lindsay Pitt of Toast Events? Add that all to the phenomenal backdrop of the St. Regis Hotel…and you’ve got photo shoot of glamour and beauty that just makes you go…ahhh.

Some highlights from our recent shoot. What an amazing day with some of the best of the best in the Atlanta weddings industry!

Jessica + Stephan

It was a fantastic day at the Intercontinental…we were so excited to work with our pal, Brian Ettelman at the hotel and so looking forward to a beautiful wedding with a really great couple. Jessica and Stephan were such a great pair–they met in college and are so in love and the best of friends. That was so clear to us during their engagement session. The wedding was beautiful, religious, romantic and warm. A perfect blend!

Loved Jessica’s blue nail polish on her toes (and the blue gum she chewed earlier in the day!), she looked so beautiful and didn’t stop beaming all day long. Stephan was truly one of the most relaxed, happy grooms that we’ve seen–and it was a joy to watch the two of them interact.

They did the traditional Tish and Bedecken before the Ketubbah–such a fun and spiritual way to start a wedding. The two families really melded together to create a big, warm, personal celebration. It was a wonderful day.

US Beat was phenomenal (as usual!) and the party was amazing. I don’t think the dance floor was ever empty!

Wishing so much love and happiness to a really phenomenal couple. So honored to be a part of your day! Mazel tov!

Susan + John

The Botanical Gardens were so beautiful and in full bloom for Susan and John’s ceremony. It was such a picture perfect spot for their intimate and warm ceremony–we were thrilled to be there to document it.

Susan definitely had one of the best “something blue”s that I’d ever seen. And, the fact that it was a gift from her honey was even better! It was great working with the fabulous Amanda from Ashley Baber Weddings. That girl was on the BALL!

After the “I do’s” we all headed to Morton’s for a private dinner party. They flew in their favorite bartender, Bill, from Charlotte to bring a taste of home to the celebration. Love that he posed with them after the party with their guest signed Rehoboam (even bigger than a magnum!) of Champagne.

We had a great time documenting this beautiful union of two families…and wish Susan, John and his sweet children a beautiful future together!

Rachel + Brian

Walking into the ballroom at the Ritz-Carlton, Buckhead for Rachel and Brian’s wedding…we were instantly overwhelmed by the amazing amount of orchids and hydrangeas. JWilbur from EventScapes created the most magical, dreamy atmosphere. Gorgeous. Every detail was just flawless, as always with Hope at the Ritz, Buckhead and Helene Popowski, who was their phenomenal event planner. We knew we were working with an incredible team, and it was a great event. Rachel looked incredible, and we were thrilled that Rodica was on hand to help with all the gown and veil details. The lace on Rachel’s handmade (by Rodica) veil was unreal.

The ceremony was sweet and warm, and so personal. We hadn’t seen a couple read their own vows in a long time. It was really touching. The fact that the Rabbi had known Rachel since she was a girl made it even more special.

Rupert’s was fantastic–they were on fire! Great dance party, it was so much fun, no one wanted to leave. I loved how both sets of parents seemed to connect so well–they really did seem like one big new extended family. That is always so nice to see.

Wishing so much joy and happiness to Rachel and Brian and their lovely families! Mazel tov!
